Thriving in difficult circumstances
People have all kinds of reasons for coming to therapy. Usually, they are suffering because of a challenge or difficulty. Therapists at The Grove believe in high-impact therapy. We believe in harnessing our clients’ inner power to adapt and grow; becoming truer to their authentic self. People who dig into their therapy often go through a process of transformational change. We see this happen time after time. We provide a safe container where you can bring your struggles, so you can thrive in a challenging environment – just like the cactus.

Our clients are some of the most interesting, awesome and talented people in the world. People with the imagination, guts and vision not to settle for second best.
If you're based in London, you'll know that working in a city of 15 million people can be a pulverising experience. You could be in finance, management, law, property or media and communications - but what's important is that you need to be on top of your game at work and in your personal life.
Whoever you are, you've reached a crunch point in your life. A time to make changes. If you're reading this, you're in the right place. We can help you deal with the problems that you're facing.
Our advice is simple. Before you make a decision, before you quit your job through stress, get stuck in a cycle of anxiety attacks, end your relationship, or spend thousands more on drugs or sex - let's talk first.
Don't view counselling as a distress purchase. See therapy as something that clever, professional people do to be at the top of their game. As one of our clients recently said "I've invested in my education, equipment, even my professional wardrobe – so why wouldn't I invest in my mental wellbeing too?".

"I would strongly recommend Robert to anyone who is struggling with anxiety. In a busy, hyper-stimulated and often exhausting mind Robert helped me find a sense of rational and inner calm that I didn't think would be possible."
Anonymous - London
"Robert was brilliant at tailoring sessions to feel as though his techniques were chosen specifically with my needs in mind. During our time together I felt a strong sense of achieving progress, through a combination of openness and willing, we went on an explorative journey of my emotions that helps me to this day"
E.M - London
"Thanks, Sarah - you've been invaluable."
Property lawyer, Docklands
"Wow what a session, I feel so many things but thank you so much for working through this with me, I truly feel like I've been on such a journey and I really appreciate you taking me through it."
Sponsorship manager, Mayfair
"I came to the Grove for therapy with Sarah, feeling down and troubled, trying to find answers to my issues. Even after the first session, I felt a sense of positivity. Each session provided me with the tools to find the answers to my questions and gave me a direction and inner strength that I had completely lost. Without my sessions with Sarah, I feel I would still be in that 'difficult place'. Definitely for me, a positive and worthwhile experience."
