Making an initial appointment
If you are unsure which therapist would be the best match for your situation, we recommend that you come along for an Initial Consultation first of all, to talk things through with one of our directors, Elliot Davis, Robert Rees, or Sarah Paton Briggs. This way, you can receive input on how therapy can help in your particular circumstances, as well as guidance on which therapist at The Grove could be the best fit for you. Each of our directors provides ongoing therapy at The Grove. We can also recommend other therapists who are working at The Grove.
Private health insurance
If you have private health insurance, please contact us to arrange your appointment. We will need the Authorisation Code from the insurance company prior to booking, otherwise we may not be able to invoice your insurer directly. Don’t book and pay online – because this cost may not be recoverable from your insurer. It’s important to obtain authorisation from your insurer before your first appointment at The Grove, to ensure your sessions will be funded. The Grove’s terms of service
Appointments are for 50 minutes.
Sessions take place at The Grove Practice, 4 Wimpole Street, London W1G 9SH.
By booking and paying online, you are committing to the selected appointment time.
Usually missed or cancelled or rescheduled appointments are chargeable, unless the therapist applies discretion according to the situation that arises. The Grove does not operate a cancellation period such as 24 or 48 hours. We prefer to hold a conversation regarding the applicable circumstances – because we view therapy as a relational dialogue.
If you would like to talk to a director before booking, or if you are experiencing problems with our online system, please call us on 0207 637 7763 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
